About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Procurement Leader to join our team at Axway Software SA. As the Head of Group Procurement, Outsourcing & Third-Party Risk Management, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Procurement Strategy

Define and drive the procurement strategy, aligned with the business strategy, and regulatory requirements (Solvency II and DORA).

Procurement Process Development

Define and implement group-wide procurement processes, aligned with Axway Group governance and global activity.

Supplier Lifecycle Management

Proactively direct all aspects of the supplier lifecycle through strategy, business engagement, tender, negotiation, and contract management for all procurement categories.

Risk Mitigation

Manage risks mitigation with third-party vendors (intragroup and external vendors).

Procurement Reporting

Engage the procurement activities for the whole company, and set up and follow up reporting regarding procurement and outsourcing KPIs, including savings delivery.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Procurement Business Plan Development

Develop and communicate a procurement business plan; establish, communicate, and implement long-term goals for the department to promote effectiveness and efficiency.

Team Performance Management

Develop, communicate, and administer procurement team performance and development plans and appraisals.

Procurement Policy and Procedure Development

Develop, communicate, and implement procurement-related policies and procedures.

Contract Development and Administration

Oversee contract development and administration.

Procurement Training

Develop and implement procurement-related training programs for the procurement team and organization.

Procurement Policy and Procedure Review

Manage current procurement policies, procedures, and programs with a focus on their ability to enhance organizational value and efficiency; meet regularly with respective departments regarding procurement for their understanding and/or recommendations to enhance policies, procedures, and develop, communicate, and implement new/revised policies, procedures, and programs as needed.

Centralized Procurement Program Development

Develop a centralized procurement program that adds value and efficiency to the organization.

Requirements
  • Education

Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or related field.

Experience

15 years of related experience, with at least 8 years of supervisory experience.

Skills

Results-oriented, metrics-driven leader with expertise in purchasing, supplier collaboration, development, and compliance focused. Solid analytical and computer skills. Strong communication skills. Outstanding team building and leadership skills. Experienced negotiator. Capacity to build trusting relationships. Customer-focused and result-oriented mindset. Fluent written and verbal communication in English.
