About the Role:

Axway Software SA is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our team as the Head of Group Procurement, Outsourcing & Third-Party Risk Management. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with our business objectives and ensures the best interests of Axway are met in terms of cost, quality, innovation, risk, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive the Procurement strategy, aligned with the Business strategy, and regulatory requirements (Solvency II and DORA).
  • Define and implement group-wide Procurement processes, aligned with Axway Group governance and global activity.
  • Proactively direct all aspects of the supplier lifecycle through strategy, business engagement, tender, negotiation, and contract management for all procurement categories.
  • Manage risks mitigation with third-party vendors (intragroup and external vendors).
  • Engage the Procurement activities for the whole company, and set up and follow up Reporting regarding Procurement and Outsourcing KPIs, including savings delivery.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Develop and communicate a procurement business plan; establish, communicate, and implement long-term goals for the department to promote effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Develop, communicate, and administer procurement team performance and development plans and appraisals.
  • Serve as the primary contact for procurement-related questions, training, policy, and procedure interpretation and alignment by all departments.
  • Oversee contract development and administration.
  • Develop and implement procurement-related training programs for the procurement team and organization.
  • Manage current procurement policies, procedures, and programs with a focus on their ability to enhance organizational value and efficiency; meet regularly with respective departments regarding procurement for their understanding and/or recommendations to enhance policies, procedures, and develop, communicate, and implement new/revised policies, procedures, and programs as needed.
  • Develop a centralized procurement program that adds value and efficiency to the organization.
  • Process purchase orders; develop bids and proposals; and reconcile any invoice discrepancies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Logistics, or related field.
  • Results-oriented, metrics-driven leader with expertise in purchasing, supplier collaboration, development, and compliance focused.
  • Solid analytical and computer skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Outstanding team building and leadership skills.
  • Strong experience in Procurement in a global environment required, with sourcing and procurement and building a vendor program.
  • Essential legal knowledge: commercial law, customs regulations, transport of goods, real estate.
  • 15 years of related experience, with at least 8 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experienced negotiator.
  • Capacity to build trusting relationships.
  • Customer-focused and result-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication in English.
  • SSII Outsourcing policy and TPRM knowledge is a plus.
