Experis France is seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Support Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' IT infrastructure.
As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to users across various client networks and systems. Your expertise will encompass a wide range of technologies, including servers, workstations, backups, and network devices.
Responsibilities:- Provide prompt and effective technical support to end-users experiencing issues with their workstations, software applications, and network connectivity.
- Diagnose and resolve a variety of technical incidents, ranging from simple configuration problems to complex hardware or software failures.
- Collaborate with support engineers and team leaders to troubleshoot challenging issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all support activities, including incident reports, resolutions, and preventative measures.
- Proficiency in Windows Server operating systems and desktop environments.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
- Solid understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
- Familiarity with security concepts and best practices, such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
