Director of Sales for International Leisure Sales

As a key member of the Accor team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding existing business through promotional efforts and sales channels. Your primary objective will be to develop and lead a high-performing sales team, ensuring they meet and exceed sales targets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and oversee the sales team, ensuring they meet sales action plans and targets.
  • Ensure all customer requirements are determined and met, promoting awareness of customer needs throughout the organization.
  • Manage top-producing accounts, focusing on high-end suite business, and ensure client visitations and entertainment targets are met.
  • Update relevant systems with client information, production, and sales activities.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Handle daily sales operations and continually evaluate markets and their needs, comparing them with existing products and services.
  • Recommend sales action plans or procedure revisions to increase production of various market segments.
  • Assist in producing annual Sales Plans, hotel budgets, and departmental performance plans.
  • Advise on sales progress and booking trends in respective market segments.
  • Responsibility for Leisure industry segments.
  • Attend overseas sales trips and road shows as required.
  • Establish measurable quality objectives and participate in their review.
  • Provide coaching, counseling, and discipline to colleagues to ensure they meet customer and hotel needs.
  • Determine necessary competence for colleagues and provide relevant training or actions.
  • Monitor Leisure incentive programs, ensuring all departments are briefed and aware of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Achieve and exceed budgeted room nights and revenue goals annually.
  • Utilize the marketing plan to uncover new and potential business.
  • Ensure accuracy in forecasting revenues with the most updated information.
  • Assist Sales/Catering/Convention services in obtaining necessary customer information and closing business.
  • Participate in daily/weekly Revenue meetings, sales strategy meetings, and pre-convention meetings.
