Director of Sales for International Leisure Sales

As Director of Sales for International Leisure Sales, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding existing business through promotional efforts and sales channels. You will work closely with the Group Director of Sales to develop the sales team and achieve sales targets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor and oversee the sales team to ensure sales action plans are met.
- Ensure all customer requirements are determined and met.
- Actively promote customer awareness throughout the organization.
- Manage top-producing accounts to meet client visitation and entertainment targets.
- Update relevant systems with client information, production, and sales activities.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Handle daily sales operations and evaluate market needs.
- Recommend sales action plans to increase production in various market segments.
- Assist in producing annual Sales Plans, hotel budgets, and departmental performance plans.
- Advise on sales progress and booking trends in respective market segments.
- Responsibility for Leisure industry segments.
- Attend overseas sales trips and road shows as required.
- Establish measurable quality objectives and participate in their review.
- Provide coaching, counseling, and discipline to colleagues to meet customer needs.
- Determine colleague competence and provide relevant training.
- Monitor Leisure incentive programs and ensure departments are aware of their roles.
- Achieve and exceed budgeted room nights and revenue goals annually.
- Utilize the marketing plan to uncover new business.
- Ensure accuracy in forecasting revenues with updated information.
- Assist in obtaining customer information and closing business.
- Participate in daily/weekly Revenue meetings, sales strategy meetings, and pre-convention meetings.
