Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Package Manager to oversee a critical project in the maritime sector, specifically focusing on the installation of an anchoring system for a Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) unit.

Mission Context:
  • Location: Based in Cassis, with no travel required.
  • Remote Work: One day of remote work per week allowed after an initial period.
  • Duration: 8-month engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and control project execution, ensuring compliance with contract provisions and client specifications.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management Team to thoroughly understand contract elements, scope of work, and related documentation.
  • Assign clear objectives and scope to project team members, defining boundaries between project functions.
  • Oversee resource allocation throughout all project phases to ensure timely and successful project completion.
  • Organize the utilization of human resources, equipment, vessels, materials, and subcontractors effectively.
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring alignment with scheduled timelines, health, safety, environment (HSE) standards, quality objectives, and cost estimates.
  • Implement necessary project processes, management plans, and procedures to achieve successful HSE, quality, and economic outcomes.
  • Establish and manage the project budget, monitor costs, and report results regularly.
  • Ensure effective management of risks and opportunities, with regular updates to the risks register.
  • Support subcontractor management throughout all project phases to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
  • Facilitate the technical close-out of the project, including provisional and final acceptance, and handover of facilities.
  • Compile a comprehensive project close-out report and a Lessons Learned document for future reference.
Candidate Profile:
  • Master's degree or engineering qualification with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in the maritime or offshore oil and gas sectors, particularly with major industry players.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
