Position Overview:

NES Fircroft is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team within an EPCI contractor environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchase requisitions and gather requirements effectively.
  • Conduct supplier benchmarking for projects, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and ethical standards.
  • Develop and confirm bidder lists for procurement activities.
  • Validate budgets and delivery timelines in alignment with project schedules.
  • Prepare and distribute tenders for materials, equipment, services, and subcontracting needs.
  • Solicit quotes, clarify pricing, and ensure technical validation with engineers.
  • Negotiate contractual and commercial terms, including pricing and payment conditions.
  • Collaborate with engineers to compile technical comparison tables.
  • Create commercial comparison tables for management approval.
  • Liaise with legal and contract teams throughout the negotiation process.

Contract Management:

  • Draft and obtain validation for contracts from the procurement manager.
  • Generate purchase orders and initiate kickoff meetings.
  • Oversee order fulfillment up to commissioning, maintaining communication with logistics and cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate inspections as necessary.
  • Verify supplier invoices for compliance and forward them to accounting.
  • Maintain supplier records in the database.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bac +2 education level.
  • Background in Business School or Business Engineering.
  • Specialized training in Purchasing.
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in English is essential.
  • Experience in project procurement.
  • Knowledge of the energy sector is advantageous.
  • Ideally possess a technical background in general mechanics.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and office software.
  • Understanding of commercial law and customs regulations.
  • Awareness of various tendering processes.
  • Demonstrated autonomy and organizational skills.
  • Expertise in negotiation techniques.
  • Proficient in purchasing, inventory, and distribution management.
