Company Overview and Position Summary

The Afiph is a dedicated family organization that oversees facilities and services for individuals with disabilities, including children and adults. Our focus encompasses intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, mental health challenges, and multiple disabilities. We proudly manage 24 accreditations across more than 80 establishments in three departments, employing over 2000 professionals and providing daily assistance to 4500 individuals.

We are currently seeking a Residential Services Coordinator (M/F) to join our team.

This role is situated within a specialized accommodation facility that supports 40 residents with significant disabilities who require ongoing care and supervision, staffed by approximately sixty employees.

In this position, you will report directly to the service manager and will be responsible for organizing the hospitality framework to effectively address the needs of the residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and execute cleaning operations
  • Ensure the quality and safety of the residents' living conditions
  • Maintain high hygiene standards
  • Manage kitchen cleanliness and equipment, addressing any additional requirements
  • Support residents with daily living activities (meals, laundry, etc.)
  • Conduct general kitchen upkeep
  • Perform housekeeping duties in communal and private areas, potentially involving residents
  • Plan menus and prepare meals in collaboration with residents when feasible
  • Set dining tables and serve meals, fostering resident engagement
  • Share meals with residents to enhance social interaction
  • Create a serene dining atmosphere to encourage communication and socialization
  • Assist in organizing special events and festive gatherings
  • Handle phone inquiries and document information in the designated system
  • Report any complex situations to management
  • Ensure public safety
  • Uphold residents' rights and promote their independence

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participate in food-related committees and meetings
  • Communicate with residents' families
  • Maintain and update intervention logs

Employment Details

- Contract Type: Full-time permanent position, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9:00-16:00
- Salary: Based on collective agreement 66 and experience
- Benefits: 25 paid vacation days / 6 compensatory days
