At Heidrick & Struggles, we specialize in executive search and leadership consulting, and our Senior Associates are vital to the successful execution of our recruitment processes. This role encompasses all stages of the executive recruiting lifecycle, from identifying candidates to their successful placement. Working closely with our experienced Search Partners and Consultants, Senior Associates enhance their professional capabilities in a dynamic environment while receiving exceptional mentorship and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Associate, you will:

  • Collaborate with Consultants to formulate effective search strategies and develop position specifications.
  • Conduct thorough research on industry trends and client companies to provide valuable insights.
  • Assist in creating business development materials for presentations to current and prospective clients.

Candidate Engagement

  • Reach out to potential candidates to gauge interest in available opportunities and gather market intelligence.
  • Perform comprehensive interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications and alignment with position requirements.
  • Prepare candidate assessments and present findings to clients.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring clear communication with Consultants.
  • Support client relationship management alongside Consultants.

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a relevant recruiting role.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate and present information effectively.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with clients and candidates, fostering productive partnerships.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in full life cycle recruiting within Executive Search or Talent Acquisition.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Skills in targeting candidates and developing persuasive pitch materials.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and conduct effective research.
  • Experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, is a plus.
