P&C Long Tail Business Risk Management Expert

The AXA Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of P&C Long Tail Business Risk Management Expert. This position will be responsible for managing risks associated with P&C Long Tail underwriting and claims handling, as well as commercial lines.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and map (re)insurance risks through sound portfolio and business knowledge and sound understanding of underwriting strategy.
- Contribute to systemic risk modelling activities and to the risk appetite set up, bringing expert judgement to models teams.
- Review and approve standards and policies for insurance, assumed reinsurance, and ceded reinsurance.
- Contribute to entities In-Depth Review and Technical Reviews agenda and work.
- Ensure 2nd line of defence with 2nd opinion on P&C strategic plan, CEO dialogues questions, Underwriting referrals to Group (Group Underwriting Committee membership), CLEAR (Steerco membership – process aiming at identifying and mitigating systemic risks across portfolios and aiming at clarifying covers), Portfolio Management Process in Commercial Lines (responsible for the consolidation and presentation of entities RM 2nd opinion in ARCC).
- Steer Standards/Policies breaches identification and remediation (for ARCC validation/information).
- Contribute to promote a P&C Risk Management culture throughout the AXA Group.
