About the Role
The AXA Group is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the position of P&C Long Tail Business Risk Management Expert. As a key member of the Group Risk Management team, you will be responsible for managing risks resulting from P&C Long Tail underwriting and claims handling, for commercial lines.
Main Responsibilities
- Identify and map (re)insurance risks through sound portfolio and business knowledge and sound understanding of underwriting strategy.
- Contribute to systemic risk modelling activities and to the risk appetite set up, bringing expert judgement to models teams.
- Review and approve standards and policies for insurance, assumed reinsurance, and ceded reinsurance.
- Contribute to entities In-Depth Review and Technical Reviews agenda and work.
- Ensure 2nd line of defence with 2nd opinion on P&C strategic plan, CEO dialogues questions, Underwriting referrals to Group, CLEAR, and Portfolio Management Process in Commercial Lines.
- Steer Standards/Policies breaches identification and remediation.
- Contribute to promote a P&C Risk Management culture throughout the AXA Group.
