Exciting Opportunity at Scania Production Nederland: IT Operations Consultant
Scania Production Nederland, a prominent player in the automotive industry, is seeking an IT Operations Consultant to enhance their operational capabilities. This role is ideal for a proactive and skilled individual with a robust technical foundation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of IT service requests through ITSM tools (Incidents, Requests, Changes)
- Development of sustainable solutions and enhancements to mitigate recurring issues
- Monitoring of case progress and escalation of unresolved matters
- Oversight of daily IT application operations and identification of persistent anomalies
- Implementation of updates and patches for infrastructure components
- Level 2 support for various infrastructure systems
- Engagement in incident analysis and reviews
- Streamlining of IT operational processes
- Improvement of monitoring systems for infrastructure and applications
- Contribution to projects transitioning into production
- Regular performance reporting
- Availability for on-call responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent Bac+5 education
- Experience in operational projects
- Familiarity with Windows or Linux operating systems
- Expertise in Switch SAN, VMware, Veeam Backup & Replication, Shell scripting, PowerShell, and Git
- Detail-oriented and methodical work ethic
- Collaborative and proactive approach
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Focus on customer satisfaction and results
