As a Category Manager at Curium Pharma, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and following sourcing strategies for multiple direct and indirect purchasing categories within the PET Europe Strategic Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement Strategy and Planning:
• Define procurement strategy and plans in collaboration with key stakeholders from all departments (Operations, Quality, CMC...) for designated categories within the PET Europe strategic unit.
• Develop and actively manage procurement categories through RFP, consumption management, and make-or-buy proposals.
• Manage multi-country Tenders.
2. Supplier Portfolio Management:
• Manage the supplier portfolio and optimize the supplier panel.
• Identify market opportunities, market knowledge and expertise, and key market drivers.
• Negotiate sales conditions and European contractual agreements.
3. Strategic Project Lead:
• Contribute to strategic projects with local and/or global teams, including initiatives such as cost-saving projects, multiple sourcing, business continuity planning, and construction support.
• Conduct multi-country tenders, negotiate sales conditions, and establish European contractual agreements.
• Monitor category and performance through KPIs.
• Contribute to the improvement of procurement and procurement process.
Requirements:
• Commercial or technical degree ideally completed with a master's degree in Procurement.
• 5 years' experience minimum in procurement.
• Fluent English is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint..), Power BI.
Preferred Skills:
• Curiosity, sensitivity, and experience within the industrial world.
• Excellent communicator with leadership potential - Strategic vision and cross-cultural adjustment.
• Able to set priorities, to take some distance, and be pragmatic.
• Natural connector, capabilities to gain credibility and create an efficient network within PET Europe entities and suppliers.
• Autonomous, Positive, open to feedback.
