Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Category Manager to join our Achat et Category Management team. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Fresh Produce category, driving sales growth, and optimizing category performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Category Leadership: Develop and implement category strategies to drive sales growth, improve profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Product Sourcing and Procurement: Source high-quality fresh produce from reliable suppliers, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery.
- Category Analysis and Reporting: Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to inform category decisions and optimize performance.
- Marketing and Promotions: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional plans, including in-store displays, advertising, and digital marketing campaigns.
- Category Development and Innovation: Identify opportunities to expand the category, develop new products, and improve existing ones.
- Supply Chain Management: Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure efficient inventory management, reduce waste, and improve product freshness.
- Quality Control and Assurance
- Category Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage category budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 3 years of experience in category management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of the fresh produce industry, including market trends, suppliers, and products.
