Role Overview:

The Supply Risk Management Project Leader will serve as a pivotal figure in the transformation program for Supply Risk Management, facilitating the effective implementation of systems and practices across various Risk Management teams in the BtoB sector.

This role is essential in supporting Downstream Business Leaders to ensure that Supply Risk Management is equipped with the necessary operational processes, controls, personnel, and systems to effectively assist suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

Management of Transformation Initiatives:

  • Strategic planning for the deployment of practices and systems in collaboration with Risk Management teams, aligned with their delivery capabilities.
  • Monitoring the progress of the overall transformation initiative.
  • Organizing framing sessions to explore new use cases.
  • Engaging in communication with GEMS executive committees, Supply business leaders, and relevant stakeholders.

Enhancing Operational Efficiency:

  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to Downstream leaders to align Supply Risk Management processes and resources with business objectives.
  • Facilitating effective interactions with GEMS entities to ensure transparent communication and support.
  • Coordinating internal collaborations with other GEMS business platforms to identify and implement operational synergies.
  • Keeping Cluster Business Leaders informed of significant operational developments.

  • Proficient project management capabilities.

  • Solid understanding of financial and energy management principles.

Soft Skills:

  • Demonstrated leadership and motivation to drive transformation initiatives across a broad organization.
  • Excellent listening skills and the ability to foster consensus among diverse parties.

Language Proficiency:

  • Fluency in English is required.
