Key Responsibilities

As a Clean Energy Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing the Energy Transition Origination desk, with a primary focus on the French and Dutch markets, fostering strategic relationships with key stakeholders and partners within these regions.

You will collaborate closely with SEFE's French and Dutch electricity and gas supply activities to tailor Energy Transition products to meet the specific needs of their clientele, ensuring alignment with SEFE's overall strategic objectives.

You will originate and successfully conclude innovative structures, such as Renewable Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), battery storage solutions, green certificates, or gas-electricity arrangements, across France, the Netherlands, and Germany, while facilitating the seamless integration of these transactions within the organizational framework.

You will support the enhancement of new Energy Transition-related capabilities within the organization, contributing to the overall growth and development of SEFE's Energy Transition business activities throughout Europe.

Working in tandem with SEFE's support teams, you will establish the necessary capabilities required to launch a comprehensive suite of Energy Transition services, catering to the evolving needs of the market and clientele.

Requirements
  1. Experience in French and Dutch energy markets, ideally in Energy Transition.
  2. Excellent commercial instinct, integrity, perseverance, and creativity in dealing with clients.
  3. Understanding of electricity network constraints and challenges and opportunities of renewable assets.
  4. Strong business acumen coupled with entrepreneurial flair and energy; capable of adapting in a dynamic environment with rapid business growth.
  5. Ability to establish and maintain strong professional relationships.
  6. Proven ability to initiate, negotiate, and conclude structured agreements.
  7. Tenacious and results-oriented, takes initiative and drives to conclusion.
  8. Excellent financial and analytical skills.
  9. Impactful presentation skills; ability to present to internal and external stakeholders.
  10. Excellent team player with a willingness to collaborate and share expertise across SEFE.
  11. Proficiency in French, English, Dutch, and German is an advantage.
