Alstom: Senior Legal Counsel - Procurement
About Alstom: Alstom is a global leader in transport networks, providing a wide range of solutions for greener and smarter mobility worldwide. With a focus on high-speed trains, metros, trams, and more, we are dedicated to connecting cities and reducing carbon emissions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Agreement Development: Develop and negotiate high-value agreements that align with Alstom's business objectives.
- Procurement Support: Provide expert legal support and guidance on procurement-related matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Legal Advisory: Offer advice on various legal matters, including Intellectual Property and Competition Law, to ensure Alstom's business operations remain compliant and competitive.
- Contract Management: Coordinate with internal teams to manage contracts effectively, ensuring timely execution and minimizing risks.
- Training and Development: Facilitate training sessions on Legal Sourcing to enhance the skills of Alstom's procurement team.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor of Laws degree from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Senior-level experience as a legal counsel in a procurement or contract negotiation role.
- Skills: Knowledge of sourcing considerations in a multi-cultural environment and experience working in a matrix-based organization.
