Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Product Validation Engineer to join our team in Sophia Antipolis, France. The successful candidate will be responsible for system validation and debug of UWB, BLE, and MATTER solutions dedicated to Qorvo connectivity products.
Key Responsibilities- Define and execute product validation plans for UWB, BLE, and MATTER products, ensuring coverage of all functional and performance requirements
- Develop and maintain end-to-end test environments, internally or through partnerships
- Implement automated test scripts and tools to support comprehensive product-level testing
- Integrate test environments with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing throughout the product development lifecycle
- Continuously improve test environments, incorporating new features, tools, and technologies as needed
- Document test environment configuration, setup, and usage procedures, and provide training and support to other engineers
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, and support product certifications as needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the test environment, working closely with cross-functional teams
- Analyze test results, defects, and issues, and provide regular reports to project stakeholders
- Degree in engineering school or Master
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience
- Proven track record in product validation, testing, and quality assurance in the field of wireless communication technologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Strong knowledge of radio communication systems and standard bodies (3GPP, Wifi, BLE or other); knowledge of UWB is a plus
- Expertise with Python programming, experience with C/C++
- Technical understanding: embedded systems, real-time OS/firmware, network & RF software layers, embedded security and secure element
- Android experience will be a strong plus (Linux Kernel, HAL, Android flow, Java/Apk)
- Ability to read HW schematics, use oscilloscope, logic analyzer and RF tester equipment
- Ability to work autonomously
- Team player
- Likes to work in complex projects involving multiple parties and work packages spread among several teams and stakeholders
- Work across different cultures
- Ability to travel to APAC and USA (up to 20% time)
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Very fluent in English, spoken and written
We offer a competitive salary of approximately €90,000 per year, commensurate with experience, as well as a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
