Position Overview
As a Lead Security Consultant at Kyndryl, you will play a pivotal role in our Customer Technology Advisory team, collaborating with innovative minds to redefine how our clients approach security. We are looking for a skilled professional who excels in a fast-paced setting and is dedicated to safeguarding organizations against both recognized and emerging threats, acting as a guardian of the digital landscape.
Key Responsibilities- Project Leadership: Oversee and execute significant security initiatives, partnering with clients to assess their specific security requirements and evaluate their existing security frameworks. Provide expert advice on optimal security practices, risk management techniques, and comprehensive security policies.
- Sales Collaboration: Work alongside the sales team to engage in pre-sales efforts, including client consultations, presentations, and crafting proposals that address security challenges while showcasing our unique value.
- Implementation Expertise: Develop and deploy security controls, policies, and procedures. Collaborate with diverse teams to implement advanced technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, access management, and encryption solutions.
- Security Assessments: Conduct in-depth security evaluations to identify vulnerabilities. Your detailed analyses will inform management strategies and actions.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest security threats, technologies, and best practices. Your insights will enhance the organization's security framework, ensuring it remains at the forefront of defense strategies.
- Infrastructure Security: Provide guidance on the design and evaluation of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications, ensuring security is embedded from the outset.
- Security Integration: Champion the incorporation of security measures into DevOps workflows, facilitate cloud transitions, and contribute to IT modernization efforts to deliver secure, resilient, and scalable solutions.
- Identity Management: Spearhead initiatives centered on Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust frameworks, ensuring robust identity verification and access controls to guard against unauthorized access.
- Collaborative Security: Engage with clients and vendors on security evaluations, audits, and due diligence activities, shaping secure partnerships.
- Incident Management: Formulate and lead incident response strategies, conduct forensic analyses, and manage security incidents to mitigate impacts and bolster organizational resilience.
- Threat Intelligence: Establish and oversee threat intelligence initiatives, conduct proactive threat hunting, and remain vigilant against emerging cybersecurity threats.

Required Skills and Experience- At least 7 years of experience in information security consulting and implementation.
- Strong grasp of security principles, practices, and technologies.
- Experience in managing risks associated with information processing, storage, or transmission.
- Proficient in conducting security and risk assessments using frameworks such as NIST, RMF, ISO, and ANSSI Guides.
- Excellent communication skills for articulating complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to adapt to evolving security threats and stay current with industry trends.
- Proven capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning in a rapidly changing field.
- Familiarity with common security tools and platforms (e.g., SIEM, EDR, SOAR).
- Knowledge of relevant regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and industry-specific standards.
- Proficiency in various security domains, including:
- Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Network Security and Security Operations Centers (SOC)
- Cloud Security and Incident Management
- DevSecOps and IT Modernization
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms and proactive threat hunting methodologies.
- Proficiency in incident response strategies and digital forensics.
- Demonstrated success in leading and delivering impactful security projects.
- Experience in designing and implementing security controls, policies, and procedures.
- Proven track record in deploying advanced security technologies and conducting comprehensive security assessments.
- Ability to quantify risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Accreditation to work with government entities or regulated sectors, with potential for ANSSI Accreditation.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
- GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
