Job Title: English Communication Manager

SOS MEDITERRANEE is seeking a highly skilled English Communication Manager to support the organization's international development goals through effective communication and fundraising strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive English-language communication strategy to enhance the organization's international presence.
  • Oversee the production and distribution of English-language content across various platforms, including social media, email newsletters, and the organization's website.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with key media outlets, academic institutions, and cultural organizations to promote SOS MEDITERRANEE's mission and values.
  • Contribute to fundraising efforts by developing and implementing digital fundraising initiatives and supporting international fundraising campaigns.
  • Manage and mentor a team of communications professionals to ensure consistency and alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in communication and/or journalism, with a focus on international development and humanitarian work.
  • Master's degree in communication, political science, or international relations.
  • Native English speaker with proficiency in French, German, Italian, or Arabic a plus.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience in media management, social media, and content creation.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work independently.
