Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Materials Engineer to join our Packaging Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving quality improvement initiatives with our suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the packaging team in handling quality complaints from suppliers
  • Develop and implement a plan to eliminate losses over the next 6 months
  • Collaborate with suppliers to implement their improvement plans
  • Monitor supplier actions and visit them to maintain relationships and assess plan effectiveness
  • Manage and coordinate the supply chain in the event of material quality issues
  • Communicate progress to other departments
  • Lead the packaging team's daily prioritization meeting

Requirements

  • Engineering degree or university Master's with a specialization in packaging/materials
  • Proven ability to work as part of a cohesive team
  • Proactive thinker with analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English
