About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Engineer to join our Packaging Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving quality improvement initiatives for our suppliers' packaging.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting technicians in handling quality complaints from suppliers
  • Developing and implementing plans to eliminate losses over the next 6 months
  • Collaborating with suppliers to implement their improvement plans
  • Monitoring supplier actions and visiting them to maintain relationships and assess the effectiveness of their actions
  • Managing and coordinating the supply chain in the event of material quality issues
  • Communicating the progress of the improvement plan to other departments
  • Leading the packaging team's daily prioritization meeting

This role will involve project management, and if you have experience, you may be assigned to lead projects from the start.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • An engineering degree or university Master's with a specialization in packaging/materials
  • A proven ability to work as part of a cohesive and efficient team
  • Proactive thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English, both written and verbal, to interact with suppliers and other departments in France and abroad
