Job Title: Executive Vice President of Commercial Operations

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Vice President of Commercial Operations to lead our sales and product management teams in the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in life science instrumentation and consumables, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a clear and precise sales action plan to achieve sales targets and monitor/analyse sales performance
  • Manage Product Management Teams for Life Science Tools & Consumables, overseeing the entire product lifecycle and ensuring alignment with market needs and customer expectations
  • Manage Sales Teams, leading, motivating and uniting team members around a common sales strategy, organising and coordinating commercial activities, evaluating employee performances and supporting their development
  • Achieve Sales Targets & Monitor/Analyse Sales Performance, ensuring individual and collective objectives are met, realising sales, market share and business funnel development objectives, reporting to the CEO and optimising sales action plans if required

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree (Analytical Chemistry, Life Sciences, or closely related)
  • Solid background in life science instrumentation (chromatography and mass spectrometry) and consumables
  • Over 10 years' experience of selling, marketing and product management, leading strategies, business planning, marketing and business development
  • Excellent mastery of sales techniques, marketing tools & methodologies along with a solid knowledge of the market and companies in the sector
  • Fluency in both French and English is mandatory
