Senior SerDes System Engineer for Signal Integrity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SerDes System Engineer for Signal Integrity to join our team at European Tech Recruit. This role is a fantastic opportunity to work with a multinational semiconductor company based in Grenoble, France.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the innovation of high-speed 112Gbps+ interconnection technology for ICT products.
  • Design and simulate high-speed SerDes systems, ensuring optimal performance and signal integrity.
  • Validate high-speed SerDes system experimental results and correlate them with simulation outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the China team on technical reviews, regular reporting, and project chartering.
  • Develop and maintain the technology roadmap and projects for High-speed interconnection, providing technical insights into high-speed systems.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or above, with a preference for PhD holders. Majored in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Communication Engineering, Electromagnetic Science, or related fields. Minimum 8 years of work experience.
  • Deep knowledge and extensive experience in system hardware architecture design for telecom/communication products.
  • Proven experience in developing 56Gbps and beyond High-speed products/prototypes, with successful delivery of 56Gbps+ products.
  • Excellent understanding of high-speed SerDes architecture, Rx/Tx SerDes PHY, Tx/Rx equalization techniques, CDR, and corresponding challenges at the DSP level.
  • Familiarity with key High-speed serial hardware, including SerDes, High-speed ASIC, Package, DSP, PCB, and connector.
  • Strong skills in high-speed serial links lab experiments/prototyping (Real-time oscilloscope, VNA…) and correlation with simulation results.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, including IEEE 802.3/OIF-CEI standards, Common Electrical I/O (CEI)-224G, or InfiniBand.
  • Academic background and willingness to participate in conferences and industry events.
