Renewable Energy Project Development Manager

Job Summary:
The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join their Development Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of wind, solar, and battery storage projects, from site identification and land acquisition to securing permits and preparing for construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Development: Identify potential sites for new projects, analyze electrical network infrastructures to support project interconnection, and lead or assist with landowner negotiations.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including local communities, authorities, and elected officials.
- Environmental Impact Assessment: Manage the Environmental Impact Assessment Report (EIAR) process and planning stages through to pre-construction handover.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial modeling and support the development of business cases for acquiring wind, solar, and energy storage projects.
- Project Coordination: Support the Construction and Asset Management teams during the initial service phases and ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures.
- Reporting: Provide regular management reports.
Candidate Profile:
- Education: Master's degree in engineering, planning, or business administration, with a focus on renewable energy, environment, or project management.
- Experience: 5 to 10 years of relevant experience, with experience in wind farm development being a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in GIS/AutoCAD is advantageous, as well as strong analytical, adaptable, and efficient working style.
- Personal Qualities: Highly motivated, organized, open-minded, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication, social skills, and leadership ability, with integrity, ethical standards, and sound judgment.
- Travel Requirements: Full clean driving license, with regular travel required for fieldwork and occasional trips to Headquarters.
Eligibility: Eligibility to work in the EU is required.
