About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Country Manager to lead our operations in France. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to drive business growth and expansion in the French market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development
    • Develop and implement a clear business strategy to build and ramp up the market for our company.
    • Translate our global business strategy into a local approach, leveraging data analysis and field experience to detect market potential and develop local sales and product tactics.
    • Review sales trends and budget variances, providing in-depth analysis and implications, including market forecasts and volumes.
    • Screen and benchmark competitors, products, pricing, and business models in the French EV charging market.
  • Country Management
    • Oversee all local company operations, including legal, tax, and budget management, ensuring profit growth year over year.
    • Develop a strong network and relationships with relevant business stakeholders and local authorities in the EV industry.
    • Report business performance to our Management team based in Munich.
  • Sales Operations & Partnership Management
    • Acquire new customers and partners, negotiate contracts, and serve as the frontman/-woman in building our customer base in France.
    • Communicate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including our marketing team, product management, external partners, and regulators.
    • Hold pitches and trainings with customers & partners and participate in relevant fairs and other local market events.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of active sales experience, ideally with experience or a network in electrical wholesale sales.
  • An entrepreneurial, generalist personality, with an affinity for technical products, data, and solutions.
  • A proven track record in multiplier & partner sales.
  • Knowledge and experience in building digital business structures.
  • Electrical expertise and enthusiasm for electromobility, renewable energies, and new technologies.
  • A people person who likes to network and is experienced in people management.
  • Willingness to proactively build connections with international colleagues and leverage and share existing know-how.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Native-level French language skills, with very good English or German skills; other languages are a plus.
