At IFS, we're looking for a skilled Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing outbound prospecting, sales support, and lead development for our Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage with prospects through various channels, including calling, email, and social media, to qualify them as valid sales opportunities.
- Develop cold accounts into warm and targeted accounts through aggressive targeting and value-based efforts.
- Collaborate with sales representatives to review assigned accounts and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain relationships with target accounts and develop value in working with IFS-Ultimo.
- Understand the competitive advantages of our EAM solution set and customize messaging to gain traction in accounts.
- Work through gatekeepers to gain access to decision-makers and understand their needs.
- Contribute to the development of the territory and identify high-quality opportunities with the pre-sales and marketing teams.
- A minimum of 1+ years of proven software telemarketing, business development, inside sales, or software sales experience.
- Ability to ask open-ended questions to uncover needs and better qualify prospects.
- Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Highly coachable and willing to learn.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a specific emphasis on telephone skills.
- Fluency in French and English.
- Experience with contact management applications, such as SalesLoft or Outreach.
