Position Title: Event Assistant

Role Overview:

  • Provide assistance to clients both in-person and via telephone, offering insights and addressing general inquiries related to event planning.
  • Draft and present commercial proposals adhering to set guidelines, and engage with clients to finalize event arrangements.
  • Collaborate with the team in the execution of events by liaising with vendors, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring all necessary resources are available.
  • Conduct follow-ups with clients post-event to evaluate their satisfaction and gather feedback.
  • Implement established processes and protocols as part of the department's quality assurance measures.
  • Enhance communication between the contracting entity and the end clients.
  • Coordinate room availability in conjunction with management.
  • Manage dining arrangements for event services.
  • Execute additional related responsibilities as required.

Candidate Profile:

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related discipline.
  • Intermediate proficiency in English.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Possess strong negotiation capabilities.
  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude and a strong commitment to teamwork.
  • Exhibit organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and effective communication abilities.
  • Capable of conveying information clearly in both verbal and written formats.
