About the Role
The Channel Development Manager will lead the sales and business development strategies to achieve market leadership and sustainable business growth for the Middle East market. This role will work closely with external and internal stakeholders to drive marketing and business development activities effectively to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish permanent links with customers and market segments to gather valuable voice of customer feedback.
- Gain and capitalize market knowledge to help distributors work out their sales tactics.
- Network at industry events and trade shows to assess new channel partners and market competition.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive actions and execution to exceed commercial and financial targets.
- Identify and select new channel partners to deliver growth strategy.
- Monitor competition activities and identify market opportunities and threats.
- Use sales tools to map sales efficiency, prospects, and revenue progression.
- Participate in daily partner meetings with end customers and perform prospecting and follow-up tasks for large global, regional, and national accounts.
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or Business.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Market/Business Development role within a technology-based company with complex B2B interactions focused on Distributor/Partner management.
- Customer relations management experience is strongly desired.
- Strong ability to drive change and influence.
- Ability to lead and work within cross-functional teams or projects.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
- Ability to travel more than 30% abroad the country and spend 50% of time on the field.
- Ability to create and develop high-value-added propositions.
