COLLABORATIVE ACHIEVEMENTS:
As a member of our Alstom Digital & Integrated Systems division, the Development Center is tasked with designing Alstom's primary Urban CBTC Signaling Solutions: Urbalis 400, utilized in over 100 projects globally, and Urbalis Fluence, our latest and most cutting-edge urban signaling system.
Reporting to the Software Leader in the Software Design PA team, you will function as a Software Designer within a collaborative development team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing features within the software V-model cycle, adhering to processes derived from Cenelec standards.
- Engaging in the analysis of internal customer requirements to aid in the development of system specifications, considering product definition constraints (platform, security level, testability, resources) and processes, leveraging your railway signaling expertise.
- Crafting the corresponding software specifications for development in alignment with current processes, while accounting for architecture, performance, security, quality, cost, testability, and maintainability constraints. Ensure implementation, including coding (in Ada95 or C as necessary), and associated design tests.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the field.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- You hold a minimum Bac +5 degree, either an engineering or university degree in Software Engineering, with prior experience in a similar role focused on embedded systems specification/design under high safety constraints.
- You possess real-time programming skills and ideally have experience developing applications within the railway signaling sector in compliance with CENELEC standards. Familiarity with Ada95 programming and the B method would be advantageous.
- You have a keen interest in the railway transport industry and are motivated to showcase your innovative capabilities in an international environment. Your strong technical acumen, attention to detail, operational efficiency, teamwork, interpersonal skills, and initiative will be key to your success in this role.
- Proficiency in English is required.
