You will be an integral part of the IFS Global Aerospace & Defence team, contributing to the local South Europe Market Unit.

As a sales executive focusing on a select list of strategic Aerospace & Defense accounts, you will embody an entrepreneurial spirit, excelling in pipeline development and opportunity closure.

  • Demonstrate strong sales execution while continuously refining these skills.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute the Go-To-Market Strategy for the A&D sector.
  • Create and uphold a Territory Plan specific to the vertical.
  • Formulate an Account Plan that includes deal action cards, mutual evaluation plans, and power maps for designated accounts.
  • Oversee the complete sales process, from demand generation to understanding customer requirements, managing the RFI/RFP process, constructing a business case for change, and securing business, while leveraging resources within a matrix organization.
  • Collaborate with partners to deepen account penetration, crafting joint sales initiatives that expedite deal cycles and maximize value, ensuring robust delivery plans that result in satisfied, referenceable clients.
  • Assume full responsibility for achieving annual sales targets and delivering according to quarterly budgets.
  • Engage in ongoing pipeline development and demand generation activities to ensure 4x pipeline coverage.
  • Coordinate with Sales leadership and Global teams to cultivate a strong internal network and foster collaboration.
  • Maintain comprehensive CRM and account hygiene, alongside sales cadence, administration, and reporting to guarantee precise forecasting.

Required Qualifications

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Extensive experience in selling complex business software solutions.
  • Proven success in complex sales at the C-level with major clients.
  • Demonstrated achievement in managing complex transactions and lengthy sales cycles in a fast-paced, consultative, and competitive environment.
  • Strong understanding of the Aerospace & Defense or Public Administration industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in both French and English.
  • Ability to navigate within a matrix-rich organization, fostering relationships and securing support to accomplish objectives.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, preferably within a related industry.
  • Engineering degree or experience in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering.
  • Background in a military organization or defense ministry.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and/or Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) processes.
