Job Overview

The European Contracts Supervisor is tasked with managing and executing the entire contract lifecycle, ensuring adherence to contractual commitments, policies, and procedures across our European operations, while also complying with relevant legal and regulatory standards. This position will utilize extensive experience to effectively negotiate and oversee contracts, mitigate potential risks, and enhance contract efficiency. Additionally, this role will play a pivotal part in fostering operational effectiveness within European operations, reducing legal risks, and advocating for best practices in contract governance and management.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field; Juris Doctor (JD) or advanced degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in contract management, procurement, or legal roles.
  • Relevant certifications in Contract Management (e.g., Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM), Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM)) are advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.

  • Oversee the complete contract lifecycle process, including negotiation, drafting, execution, and ongoing management.
  • Responsible for negotiating, creating, reviewing, and managing contracts and agreements with clients, vendors, suppliers, and partners, ensuring alignment with business goals and legal standards.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory standards, and company policies, while mitigating legal and operational risks associated with contract management activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, procurement, finance, sales, and operations, to facilitate contract negotiations, resolve contract-related issues, and support business objectives.
  • Act as a primary contact for external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and partners, to build and maintain strong relationships and ensure clarity on contract terms and expectations.
