Position Overview
Kyndryl is on the lookout for a distinguished Cybersecurity Solutions Architect to spearhead our security strategies and influence the cybersecurity frameworks of our clients.
This role is crucial for architecting and executing resilient, scalable security solutions for extensive projects, while also enhancing our managed services portfolio.
As a Cybersecurity Solutions Architect, you will utilize your extensive knowledge in key security areas to develop thorough security architectures, deliver high-level consulting, and assist in defining our managed security services.
Your background in large-scale projects and varied security technologies will be essential in providing innovative solutions that align with our clients' strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Security Architecture:
Lead the creation and deployment of organization-wide security architectures, emphasizing Protect strategies, Zero Trust frameworks, and comprehensive Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
Leadership in Large Projects:
Direct and oversee extensive security initiatives, managing all stages from initial concept to final execution.
Managed Services Development:
Play a significant role in the advancement and refinement of Kyndryl's managed security services, ensuring they align with market needs and utilize state-of-the-art technologies.
Technology Integration:
Architect the integration of diverse security technologies, including Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions, within intricate IT environments across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures.
Zero Trust Implementation:
Advocate for the adoption of Zero Trust principles within client environments, ensuring a strong security posture.
IAM Strategy Development:
Formulate comprehensive Identity and Access Management strategies, integrating the latest technologies and best practices.
Threat Detection and Response Architecture:
Design advanced architectures for threat detection and response, utilizing EDR and other pertinent technologies.
Risk Management and Compliance:
Perform risk assessments and ensure that architectures comply with regulatory standards across various sectors.
Client Advisory:
Offer expert security consulting to clients, translating complex technical concepts into business value propositions.
Innovation Leadership:
Remain at the forefront of emerging security technologies and methodologies, fostering innovation within Kyndryl and for our clients.
Candidate Profile
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Over 10 years of experience in IT security, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior security architect capacity
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale security initiatives in enterprise settings
- Profound knowledge of Protect strategies, Zero Trust Architecture, IAM, and EDR solutions
- Extensive experience with cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing managed security services
- Familiarity with security standards and regulations (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with DevSecOps and embedding security into CI/CD pipelines

Required Certifications:
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) certification or equivalent enterprise architecture certification
Preferred Certifications:
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Cloud security certification (e.g., CCSP, AWS Certified Security - Specialty)
- Relevant vendor certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks)
