Head of Sales and Marketing Strategy – Luxury Hotel (H/F)

Compensation: €75,000 - €80,000 base salary plus bonuses and benefits

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Head of Sales and Marketing. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for optimizing sales and achieving (and exceeding) the hotel's revenue targets across various segments. The ideal candidate should be proactive and dynamic, with a proven track record in meeting sales objectives and the ability to think strategically while executing an effective and targeted commercial and marketing plan.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement the commercial and marketing strategy in alignment with the group's vision
  • Oversee daily operations of the hotel's Sales function to ensure maximum revenue and profitability
  • Set quantitative and qualitative objectives for the team in line with budgetary goals
  • Engage in commercial negotiations and ensure optimal adherence to strategies
  • Lead a team of approximately 20 individuals
  • Contribute to the recruitment and development of team members
  • Manage costs and allocated budgets
  • Design and execute promotional sales and marketing campaigns for the hotel through local and national media, evaluating and analyzing the return on investment of marketing initiatives
  • Provide weekly and monthly performance reports
  • Identify key competitors and conduct regular competitor analysis; monitor their performance, pricing, and commercial activities
  • Possess a solid understanding of luxury 5-star hospitality and demonstrate a proactive approach with a proven record of performance and commercial results.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Extensive experience in a Head of / Senior Manager / Director of Sales and Marketing role within 5-star or Palace hospitality
  • Previous experience with an international brand is preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of the luxury hospitality market and high-end client expectations
  • Bilingual or native proficiency in English and French
  • Demonstrated passion for exceptional customer service and commitment to team development
  • Excellent managerial and leadership qualities to continue developing the team
  • Exhibit strategic vision and creativity
  • Outstanding presentation skills, a 'can-do' attitude, and an engaging personality
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Delphi
