Job Summary

Cyient is seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to drive new client sales in the Energy and Plant Engineering business unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with a focus on engineering services, digital solutions, and business support services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a pipeline of customers and build relationships in Francophone countries
  • Leverage sales force and drive lead generation
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability
  • Drive business proposals (technical & commercial)
  • Negotiate contracts, MSA and Commercial Pricing
  • Collaborative leadership with delivery, sales, pre-sales and marketing organizations
  • Drives followership and leads by example

Requirements

  • Fluent French language skills
  • 10+ years in metrics-driven solutions selling into heavy Engineering industry
  • Established contacts and relationships at the C-level, VP, and Director levels
  • Clearly demonstrated experience in revenue growth
  • Strong negotiations background
  • Driven complex technical business proposals
  • Deal flow- how to structure deals, legal contracts, and master service agreements
  • Built eco-system partnerships to help drive revenue growth

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fundamental understanding of all phases of project and plant engineering, IoT & Analytics
  • Knowledge of Sustainable Energy, Oil and Gas and Power Plant industry practices and market trends
