Database Administrator Role

Oracle is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for leading the analysis, planning, and execution of all primary administrative functions for both Production and Non-Production environments within Oracle Energy and Water Application Installation, Administration and Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 24x7 production support for Oracle 11g/12c/19c databases on various platforms.
  • Support cloud infrastructure(IaaS) activities in Oracle Cloud
  • Proactive administration and monitoring of batchs orchestration
  • Proactive monitoring and performance tuning of databases
  • Change and Release Management, Business continuity and Capacity Planning
  • Database backup, recovery, cloning and refreshes using RMAN, Data pump

Requirements:

  • Experience in DBA responsibilities such as database Installation, Configuration, Upgrades, Patches, Backup (Cold and Hot), Recovery, Cloning, Space management, Database Security, Auditing, Troubleshooting, Database Design, SR support
  • Expertise in performance tuning and troubleshooting
  • Experience in supporting production databases with high-availability in 24/7 environments
  • Experience with Linux flavors (Solaris,Linux,Aix)
  • Strong written and spoken French and English are required
