About the Role

The Sales and Export Manager will be responsible for implementing the company's sales policy in its geographical area, working closely with the internal sales teams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to meet business objectives
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Providing made-to-measure offers to each customer and initiating the development of new products
  • Collecting marketing information and communicating sales forecasts
  • Managing customer relations, including profitability, invoicing follow-up, deliveries, and complaints
  • Respecting and applying the health and safety rules defined by the safety policy and internal regulations in place
  • Participating in the development of technical solutions and building commercial offers
  • Negotiating in line with the price policy and providing technical assistance
  • Managing customer portfolios in line with the objectives set by management
  • Proposing an annual budget and submitting it to the Sales Manager for approval
  • Carrying out day-to-day management in close collaboration with the internal sales team
  • Carrying out common sales actions with cross-functional departments
  • Keeping a record of activity in the CRM
  • Preparing and proposing responses to tenders
  • Taking part in the group's continuous improvement working sessions and participating in Commercial Excellence projects

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar position in other packaging companies
  • 10 years' experience in selling non-standard products
  • Familiarity with paper and corrugated board manufacturing processes, as well as printing processes
  • Solid experience in leading Sales teams
  • Ability to meet and/or exceed objectives (volume, margin, targets)
  • Strong negotiations skills
  • Curiosity, dynamism, and enthusiasm
  • Autonomy and ability to organise and take initiatives
  • Open-mindedness, good interpersonal skills, and enjoyment of human contact
  • Ability to listen, ability to work in a team, and availability
  • Computer skills
  • Fluency in an export language (English, German)

Location

The Sales and Export Manager will be based in Kunheim (68) with regular travels.
