Prefigurator of Executive Management for a Leading Research Infrastructure

INRIA seeks a visionary leader to guide the development of SLICES-RI, a groundbreaking European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC).

As Prefigurator of Executive Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of this ambitious project. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in navigating the complexities of establishing a world-class research infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Direction & Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan, ensuring alignment with the vision and objectives of SLICES-RI. Collaborate closely with the ISB to define operational strategies and secure funding for key initiatives.
  • Infrastructure Development & Management: Oversee the establishment and ongoing management of SLICES-RI's infrastructure, encompassing technical, administrative, financial, and human resources aspects.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with government agencies, research institutions, industry partners, and the broader scientific community. Represent SLICES-RI in external forums and effectively communicate its mission and impact.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead a diverse team of experts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure individual and collective success.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in senior management roles within research or technology organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to secure funding at national and European levels.
  • Strong understanding of research infrastructure development and management principles.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Fluency in English (C1 level).
