Job Summary

Sauvegarde 69 is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Social Service Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing judicial measures on behalf of children and adolescents in danger.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support to children, young people, and their families who are subject to educational measures in an open environment, as per the judge's requirements.
  • Support parents in regaining their protective skills and meeting the needs of their children.
  • Ensure protection, hygiene, safety, health, and education, and establish and maintain relationships with the social, educational, professional, medical, and associative environments.
  • Foster access to common law devices.
  • Use internal procedures and communication and information tools provided.
  • Develop professional writings that report on the evolution of the child or adolescent and submit them to the hierarchy within the stipulated deadlines.
  • Utilize digital tools for communication and project development.
  • Implement educational projects and collective actions.
  • Work in a multidisciplinary team to provide better care for the child (meetings, hearings).
  • Participate in reflection groups at the service and association levels, with a focus on transversality.

Required Qualifications

  • Diplôme d'Etat d'Educateur Spécialisé or Assistant de Service Social diploma.
  • Valid and obligatory Permis B.

Desirable Skills

  • Mastering written and oral reporting (participation in hearings).
  • Ability to analyze family situations, considering the criteria and values of the individuals encountered, as well as the subjective implications involved in following up on measures.
  • Knowledge of the judicial protection of childhood and family law.
  • Ability to work in a team and in interdisciplinarity with other services and networks.
  • Willingness to engage in collective reflections or actions.
  • Proficiency in Word and Outlook.
