About the Role
Apave is seeking a skilled Mechanical Test Technician to join our team at SOPEMEA, a leading provider of industrial testing and certification services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting mechanical tests on equipment and materials, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and conduct mechanical tests on equipment and materials, including vibration, compression, and flexion testing
- Design and implement test protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with clients to understand their testing needs and provide expert advice on testing methodologies
- Develop and maintain test equipment and facilities
- Conduct quality control and assurance activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Participate in the development of new testing technologies and methodologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering or physics
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in mechanical testing and quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including ISO 9001 and AS9100
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English (B2 level or higher)
