Siemens Gamesa is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Team Manager to lead our Supply Chain / Logistics organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing Supply Chain / Logistics strategy, standards, and guidelines in your area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and motivate a team of approximately 40 people to achieve operational excellence and meet business objectives.
- Organize and optimize logistics processes, ensuring that they are efficient, effective, and aligned with company standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement, well-being, and safety in the workplace.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational performance.
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure team performance and progress towards business objectives.
- Participate in the development and implementation of company-wide initiatives and projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in logistics and supply chain management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
