We are seeking a highly experienced Data Protection Officer (DPO) to join our team at Lexing Alain Bensoussan Avocats. As a leading law firm specializing in technology law, we are looking for an individual with a strong background in data protection and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest developments in this field.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations;
- Provide expert advice on data protection matters to clients and internal stakeholders;
- Conduct data protection impact assessments and risk analyses to identify potential vulnerabilities;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data protection is integrated into all aspects of the business;
- Stay up-to-date with changes in data protection laws and regulations and provide guidance on implementation;
- Develop and deliver training programs on data protection for employees and clients;
- Participate in the development of the firm's data protection strategy and contribute to the growth of the technology law practice.

Requirements
- 6-7 years of experience in data protection law, preferably in a law firm or in-house legal department;
- Strong knowledge of data protection laws and regulations, including the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders;
- Strong interpersonal and teamworking skills;
- Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken.
