**Your Role** Mission**:
The Global Product Manager (GPM) is a strategic position responsible for managing the global product portfolio of the Symrise Pet Food (SPF) Nutrition business.

The GPM identifies product opportunities, defines market initiatives and helps facilitiate go-to-market execution of both global and regional projects with the goal of enhacing value for our business and that of our customers.

The GPM leads the Nutrition business in product allocation decisions, product portfolio training and margin optimization initiatives.

**Key responsibilities inlcude**:

- Participation in global portfolio strategy and roadmap development,
- Championing product development, product launch support, life cycle management and providing on-market & regional support to ensure global performance metrics are achieved.
- You will work in support of the Global S&OP team to maintain a model that combines global production capacities with regional forecasted sales demand (by product line) to drive optimization, expansion and allocation decision making for the Nutrition business.
- You will conduct end-to-end product lifecycle management of products from initial brief, value proposition, product development, launch, maintenance, and end of life.
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams (R&D, regional marketing & sales, CMI, regulatory, supply) based on analysis of the petfood market, competition, manufacturer and pet owner needs/insights to identify product launch or optimisation opportunities that meet real customer expectations and evaluate their commercial viability.

**Some key activities**:

- Build deep understanding of our customers ecosystem & market insights, and use this knowledge to initiate & drive Global product development serving as the voice of the customer. Identify and prioritize product development and optimization opportunities.
- Work with the Global Marketing Director to define the global product strategy, including product characterizations, targets, product positioning and value proposition, competitive positioning, naming, pricing guidelines and distribution.
- Develop and execute global product launches, animation plans and sales force training in concert with Regional Marketing teams.
- Monitor product sales performance once on the market and compare them to the objectives, verify its quality, profitability and evolution,coordinate the resolution of product-related problems, readjust the mix and propose the necessary optimizations.
- Actively participate to customer and /or global business events.
- Maintain regular communication and coordination between regional product management teams and global business line.

**About You**- Bachelor's Degree in related fields (petfood, petcare, food or feed ingredients)- Double scientific-marketing profile and Product/brand experience in B2B preferred
- 3-5 years experience in international marketing or product management
- Good interpersonal communication skills (cross-functional teamwork with multiple contacts)
- Ability to work in project mode in a matrix organization
- Be creative, take initiative, consulting/advisor attitude
- Ability to listen and understand then take a step back and synthesize
- Fluent English, French, Spanish or Mandarin an advantage
- Willingness to travel as required in support of work : 25-30%
