Description du poste
In order to support our Client in his projects, we are recruiting our future Product Technical Engineering M/F to join our Segula teams, in Angers.
He/she is the single responsible for a P0, P1 and P10 project to lead R&D contributors in order to ensure the delivery on time (scheduling) of all R&D deliverables with appropriate level of quality, in respect of allocated budget & defined product costs, aligned with project milestones
- His/her mission is to anticipate issues, to manage risks and allocated resources to meet the target of the project committed at the PRKF milestone.
- He/she is responsible for fitting technical requirements ensuring the manufacturing of the product, taking in consideration process constraints
Accountable for the deliverables:
- Schedule activity of R&D key steps (VALEO and customer inputs) as called “L2 schedule”
- Manage and mitigate the risk
- Report issues and key tasks (SLI)
- Control and follow R&D deliverables per milestone according PDP and CLPP
- Manage the Bill of Material and associated product cost: ask for DtC activity if deviation to respect BOM cost target defined at PRKF
- Manage Design Review and follow up of the actions plan to solve critical points
- Control and monitor the 8 golden rules (GSI-RD-653): applicable for project with embedded SW
- Applies Standardization rules, exceptionally will request de-standardizations based on sound justifications
- Report and escalate to his project manager and/or R&D manager as needed
Responsible for the detailed scheduling and budgeting
- Contribute to the identification of the R&D needs in terms of resources, equipment, investments for good
project execution
- Establish detail break down of the activities to meet the milestones
- Responsible for budgeted R&D hours approved in CAA and/or IAR
- Ensure R&D budget will remain in the envelope until PRCL using monthly forecast and associated back on track plan if necessary
Manage R&D contributors
- Daily management of 1st level R&D contributors dedicated to the project
- Perform weekly R&D meeting with all R&D project contributors (SLI, schedule critical path, budget, RAISE
report) supported by meeting minutes
- Assign to them the work packages needed
- Regular review with his/her R&D manager or Product Manager and the Metier Department Managers to
check alignment between needs and availabilities (deliverable and resources)
**Qualifications**:
Coming from a BAC+5 training in R and D or product industrialization or equivalent, you have at least 5 years' experience in a similar position. You know the automotive environment and master its aspects. You are rigorous, organized and have very good interpersonal skills
