Head of Product Management

**Soitec** is a global leader in advanced semiconductor materials and engineered substrates, driving innovation in the microelectronics industry. Collaborating with major industrial players, top research labs, and prestigious universities, Soitec invests 10% of annual sales in R&D and holds over 4,100 patents.
- Since late 2023, SmartSiC substrates have been deployed from our state-of-the-art high-volume manufacturing line in Bernin, France, with a total design capacity of up to 500,000 wafers annually. To support the deployment of our **SmartSiC and to expand our line of products using Wide Bandgap (WBG) materials**, we’re looking for an ambitious **Head of Product Management & Business Operations** to join our Business Unit. This role is central to support in the execution of the BU's strategy.

**En quoi consiste le job?**:
**In very close collaboration with the General Manager of the Business Unit (BU) Wide Band Gap, you support the execution of the BU's strategy. You are leading the strategy of the product portfolio and enabling the fulfillment of the 5 Years Business Plan (5YBP).**:
**Thus, relying on a team of product managers and business operation officers, that you manage and coach on their own tasks, you are accountable of**:

- Managing the entire product life cycle in all its phases of evolution, from project genesis to full maturity in an HVM production environment for the whole portfolio.
- Owning the process of updating and consolidating the 5YBP.
- Ownership of the product roadmap in alignment with the BU strategy and Innovation
- Monitoring the monthly P&L reports and managing activities in close alignment with the finance and the central planning team.
- Monitoring and driving the demand/capacity process for the BU in close alignment with all stakeholders (Sales, Central Planning, Innovation, Operations and Procurement).
- Ensuring consistency in the Bill of Materials of all parts/products in the BU.
- Supporting the continuous improvement in the relevant business and product management processes.

You are involved in decisions regarding profitability and its improvement, the construction of a robust supply chain aligned with growth demands, and the daily monitoring of new product launch projects.

The customer’s need is at the center of your concerns and, in relation to your key interfaces (Field Application Engineers, Innovation, Operations, Sales and Marketing as well as Manufacturing teams), you systematically ensure that the answers provided to customers are reliable and consistent with our roadmap at all levels of the organization.

**Ce poste répondra à votre projet si vous êtes**:

- You've got a Master in Engineering, Physics or Material Science with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience (or equivalent) in an industrial manufacturing environment, ideally in the semiconductor sector.
- You have a good understanding of semiconductor products and supply chain management processes.

You desire entrepreneurship and see yourself as a bridge builder bringing innovations to life as successful market leading products.

You combine a high level of project management, relational dynamism, and the ability to work closely with the various internal players. Your vision of the technological evolutions of our markets contributes to bringing creativity and agility to our organization.

- Fluency in English is needed.

The position is located in Bernin, in the area of Grenoble in France and requires frequent international travels.
