In this role, you’ll lead the charge in expanding Fine Fragrance Europe by identifying, developing, and incubating high-potential new clients—while also tapping into well-established brands where we haven’t yet built a business relationship. **Your key responsibilities**:
- Identify, develop, and strategically incubate potential new clients within Fine Fragrance Europe, while also expanding business opportunities with established clients where commercial relationships have not yet been initiated.
- Establish and develop licensing opportunities by engaging with fashion brands, designers, celebrities, and influencers on behalf of select existing clients.
- Build strategic partnerships with key co-packers across Europe to support business development and operational excellence.
- Manage a portfolio of existing clients with whom strong, ongoing partnerships have already been established, ensuring continued growth and collaboration.
- Build and develop a successful team aligned with business objectives through onboarding, performance evaluation, fostering team spirit, and effective communication of corporate and business dynamics. The Sales Director will be responsible for managing a team of two Account Managers, initially overseeing Southern Europe, with the potential to expand the team and territory in the future.
- Develop, lead and nurture highly effective and impactful cross functional team dynamic to deliver best in class fragrances, innovation solutions and service.
- Collaborate with Integrated Business Planning (IBP) partners inclusive of demand planning, S&OP to ensure high level of profitable service to clients and define accurate pricing and margin parameters for each project, according to guidelines.
- Anticipate clients’ needs and establish a solid proactive program to generate new business expansion opportunities.

**You bring**:
- Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
- 8 to 10 years of sales experience in the Fine Fragrance industry, with a proven track record of success.
- Full professional proficiency in English and French, both written and verbal; additional European languages are a plus.
- Strong experience in negotiation and P&L management, with the ability to drive financial performance and strategic growth.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of independence and a deep understanding of the perfumery craft.
- Act as the ambassador and representative of dsm-firmenich, embodying the brand's values and vision.
- Solid business acumen with financial expertise to ensure profitability criteria are applied in client selection.
- Focus on strategic decision-making, prioritizing clients with high potential for long-term success.
