The Director, Sustainability Product Management will report to the Managing Director, Product Management and will develop and execute the product strategy of the firm´s Sustainability index offerings. In that role she/he represent Qontigo´s Sustainability index expertise with clients, shape Qontigo’s Sustainability index strategy, help drive the product roadmap, contribute to the go-to-market of all Sustainable index products and monitor/drive the financial health of the product line, including research, strategic priorities, product offering and innovation, and will represent our position on sustainable investment globally with clients and external stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:

- As part of a dynamic and growing product management team, establish Qontigo as thought leader in the Sustainable Investing Indexing Industry including client facing engagements
- Become one of Qontigo's global Sustainability ambassadors and spokespeople
- Continue developing and evolve Sustainability methodologies embedded in Qontigo´s tools, analytics, models, indices and benchmarks
- Support the Head of Product Management and broader team to shape Qontigo’s Sustainability index strategy and product development roadmap
- Support the process of Sustainability partner selection (eg. External research, data providers) and manage the relationship network
- Develop as part of product management team external engagements regarding Sustainability, including working groups and mass communications

Qualifications:

- Established authority and reputation in the ESG/SRI/Climate/SDG/Impact space
- Ability to command audiences, speak at conferences, events and excite clients
- Strong writing skills to transmit thought leadership to diverse target audiences
- Credibility in forming data-driven technical and financial positioning around Sustainable investment strategies and its impact
- Knowledge of Sustainable index methodologies, data requirements and input sources
- Master’s or PhD degree with a background in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or Economics is preferred.
- At least 10+ years of financial market experience with more than 5+ years in Sustainability leadership positions for firms in investment management, investment banking, indexing, rating or research
- A demonstrable ability to learn on the job and under pressure.
- Travel: 25-50%.

- Impeccable service ethic characterized by high energy, a positive attitude, and the desire to go the “extra mile” for both external clients and internal teammates.
- Previous experience with global exposures, being able to operate across continents reflecting cultural differences and diverging priorities
