**The team you'll be part of is Nokia Bell Labs.**

Nokia Bell Labs is the world-renowned research arm of Nokia, having invented many of the foundational technologies that underpin information and communications networks and all digital devices and systems. This research has produced nine Nobel Prizes, five Turing Awards and numerous other awards.

The internship will take place within the Enterprise Networks department (11 researchers) in Nokia Bell Labs France, located in Nokia Paris-Saclay premise in Nozay (route de Villejust, 91620 Nozay) which is 30 km south from Paris. This research department studies the network and its control and automation in the perspective of IoT environment.

**What you will learn and contribute to during your internship**
- Design and deploy tools around platform (Platform Monitoring, Self-generated documentation of APIs, Security Hardening)
- Support the implementation of demonstrators about FOG computing orchestration over IoT ecosystem (UI devs, constrained devices, Workflow definitions & associated software design/implementation)
- Study discovery mechanisms and description of embedded resources in IoT; experiment alternatives to containers in order to run arbitrary code on constrained devices

**Your skills and experience**

Depending on the advancement of the prototype at the time of the internship, you should match some of these skills:

- Systems/Software: Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Swagger & Open API, RaspberryPI, OpenWRT
- Programming: JS, D3.js / React, Java, Python, Rust, Web Assembly
- Familiar with networking concepts and tools
