International Business Development Manager

Our client specializes in **cutting-edge microbiological analysis solutions **that revolutionize the pace and precision of microbial contamination assessment. As part of an important evolution of the company, we are looking for a
**INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (M/F)**
to accelerate the sales of these solutions worldwide and the creation of a structured sales department. Reporting directly to the President, your main responsibilities will be as follows:
- Devising and executing effective sales strategies to meet sales targets in the microbiological analysis products sector.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and leveraging existing industry connections.
- Cultivating and nurturing strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, including laboratories and industry partners.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
- Generating sales reports and forecasts, and analyzing sales data to inform strategic decisions.
- Understanding customer requirements and offering tailored solutions and support, including organizing and conducting presentations and demonstrations.

**What we expect from you**:
- Experience in sales of microbiological test solutions (ideally on an international scale), and in dealing with contract laboratories and service providers.
- Good understanding of microbiological analysis techniques, products, and market dynamics.
- Collaborative and agile approach.
- Flexibility to travel frequently within the US and Europe.
- Fluency in English - knowledge of other languages (such as French, Spanish and German) is a plus.
