**General Context**
**Objectives / Missions**
- More specifically, you carry out the technical activities associated with the development of switching devices based on SiC (silicon carbide) components:
- Prototyping of PEBB (Power Electronics Building Blocks) including the design, routing and manufacturing follow-up of PCBs taking into account testability, CEM and industrialization constraints depending on the level of TRL to be achieved
- Circuit simulation, loss calculation and thermal sizing
- Carrying out unit tests
- Preparation of integration test plans and execution of tests
- Writing of technical and progress reports
Depending on your experience, you will be required to manage and carry out R&D projects or service/testing services, and coordinate the activity of teams in project mode or integrating experienced technical profiles (technical experts).
In your area of expertise, you provide advice, support, communication and training to your internal or external contacts to provide technical solutions. You independently produce technical documentation on your area of expertise, you develop scientific reports and publications, you supervise interns and you advance the company's research and level of expertise in its domains.
Engineer (Master) or PhD in Power Electronics with a few years of experience, you have solid knowledge in power electronics, analog electronics and you master the control circuits of Wide Band Gap devices (SiC). Skills in electronic card manufacturing techniques will be appreciated.
- Power electronics: technologies (bipolar, unipolar), packaging, gate driver, converter topologies
- Electronic cards: analog and digital electronics, thermal, dielectric and mechanical assembly
- EMC: knowledge and understanding of electromagnetic compatibility issues
- Softwares : Altium, LTSPICE, MS Office
- For no French speaker, willingness to learn French.
